Age & Residency Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age and of the age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Be a legal resident in the territories where we operate
  • Complete account registration, including linking at least one social media account

Account Restrictions

  • Limit one (1) Clipper account per Discord user
  • You may link multiple social media accounts per platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X)
  • Campaign-level account limits may apply (e.g., maximum 2 accounts per platform)
  • You may not create multiple Clipper accounts using different Discord identities

2. Account Creation & Platform Overview

To access the Platform, eligible Clippers must complete our verification and sign-up process.

Account Registration

  • Verify ownership of social media accounts for posting clips
  • Link social accounts with CLIPPING via Discord OAuth
  • Agree to allow social platforms to share data and metrics with CLIPPING
  • Configure payment methods to receive payouts

Platform Overview

CLIPPING is a clip distribution platform connecting brands, agencies, and clients ("Clients") with content creators ("Clippers"). Clippers may participate in Client Campaigns to earn Payouts based on performance.

Multiple Social Accounts

You may link multiple social media accounts per platform:

  • Multiple TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X accounts
  • Individual campaigns may impose account limits per platform
  • Limits are enforced per platform and per campaign

3. Client Campaigns

Clients may make campaigns available on the Platform. Some Clippers may not be eligible for certain campaigns.

Campaign Duration

  • Deadline-Based: A specific end date is set, after which no new posts can be submitted
  • Budget-Based: No specific end date; continues until budget is expended or sponsor calls it off

Note: Most campaigns are budget-based and continue until the budget is expended.

Payout Systems

  • Payrate System: Flat rate per view (e.g., $1 per 1,000 views)
  • Pot System: Payout proportional to your share of total campaign views
  • Bounty System: Special rewards for specific content tags or requirements
  • Platform-Specific Rates: Different rates may apply per platform

Campaign Requirements

Each campaign will specify:

  • Start and end dates
  • Required engagement actions and directions
  • Payout terms and minimum view thresholds
  • Eligible platforms and account limits
  • Content requirements and guidelines

4. Campaign Rules & Content Standards

By participating in campaigns, you agree to follow these rules. Violations may result in removal and forfeiture of earnings.

Audience Requirements

  • Campaigns requiring specific audience demographics must match your actual audience
  • Example: English Audience campaigns require 50%+ of your audience from English-speaking countries

Engagement Visibility

  • Hiding likes and other tracked engagement metrics is not allowed
  • All metrics must remain visible for accurate tracking

Quality Standards

  • We reserve the right to maintain quality standards
  • Low-quality, automated, or low-effort posts will result in removal
  • Posts must follow campaign-specific content requirements

Additional Rules

  • No duplicate posts: Each submission must be unique content for that account
  • Staff decisions are final: Staff may remove any member who violates these rules

5. Payouts & Earnings

You may earn payouts from Clients based on the performance of your clips posted in Client Campaigns. Earnings are calculated continuously, but only paid out at the end of each payout cycle.

Payout Calculation

  • Payrate: (Views × Rate) / 100,000 per platform, summed
  • Pot: PotValue × (YourShare / TotalShare)
  • Bounty: Special rates and caps as specified in bounty details

Minimum View Requirements

  • Individual posts: Each post must reach at least 1,000 views to count
  • Total views: Must meet campaign minimum (typically 25,000 views) for payout eligibility

View Tracking

  • Tracking begins upon submission to the Platform
  • Views are read periodically until campaign completion (currently every 12 hours)
  • YouTube: We track "engaged views" (genuine watch time) rather than surface-level metrics

Payout Requirements

  • Clips must be approved and meet minimum view thresholds
  • Valid payment method must be configured
  • Clips must remain public and active until payment is received
  • Must comply with Content Requirements and FTC guidelines

Payout Cycles & Timing

  • All payments are cycle-based. A "payout cycle" is a block of time during which your earnings accumulate. Payments only go out when the sponsor closes a cycle, not when you hit a threshold.
  • There is no fixed timeframe. Sponsors choose when to end a cycle. Some run for weeks, some run for months, and some run until a campaign's budget is fully expended. We cannot give an exact date.
  • There is no withdraw button. You cannot request, withdraw, or accelerate a payment. The balance shown on your dashboard is an estimate of what you will receive when the next cycle closes — not a wallet balance you can cash out.
  • Payments are batched. When a cycle closes, every qualifying clipper for that campaign is paid in the same payout run. You will be paid alongside everyone else once the sponsor approves the cycle's payout sheet.
  • A review process runs before each cycle's payout to identify and remove bad actors. This is why payouts are not sent immediately upon crossing view requirements.
  • The final amount may differ slightly from your estimate after the review (e.g., removed for botting, capped by a view ceiling, or adjusted by the sponsor).

Payment Processing

  • Payouts are sent via the payment method specified by the campaign (e.g., PayPal, USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, Cashapp, Zelle). The method is set per campaign — alternatives are not offered.
  • Payments are sent to the payment details on file at the moment a cycle closes. Keep your payment settings current — payments sent to valid-but-stale details (closed PayPal, lost wallet) cannot be reissued.
  • Payment processor fees may apply.
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes on earnings.

6. Fraud Prevention & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive behavior.

Prohibited Activities

  • Artificially or deceptively inflating views, likes, comments, or engagement
  • Purchasing followers, subscribers, or engagements (including botting)
  • Using viewbot services or artificial view generation
  • Creating multiple Clipper accounts to circumvent limits
  • Submitting clips that violate platform terms or content policies

Consequences

  • Immediate account termination
  • Forfeiture of all pending and earned Payouts
  • Clawback of previously distributed Payouts
  • Permanent ban from the Platform

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your account and participation at any time.

Termination Reasons

  • Breach of these Terms or applicable laws
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive behavior
  • Use of artificial or ineligible activity (e.g., botting)
  • Violation of FTC disclosure guidelines
  • Infringement of intellectual property rights

Upon Termination

  • Pending or ineligible balances may be forfeited
  • Clips may be retained for recordkeeping purposes
  • Payouts may be withheld or reversed if fraud is discovered
  • These Terms continue to apply to any prior use of the Platform
